The Hempstead Middle School band held its first concert on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. They worked very hard and did an amazing job! All of the conversations around campus reiterated how great they sounded after only 7 weeks of school! Way to Go!
The faculty and staff at HMS celebrated the end of the 1st 9 weeks grading period with "Crock-tober". It was a great time for all!

On Wednesday, October 4, 2023 the PVAMU Women's basketball team met with the students in our 7th & 8th grade Girls Athletics class. Students learned the importance of positivity, academics and sportsmanship on and off the court.
