Hempstead High School Class of 2023 has arrived in San Antonio for their senior trip!
Hempstead ISD will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
The first annual senior class field day and cookout was held Friday, May 19th. Students had a blast celebrating their final days with great food, water slides, and games! Thank you to all the students, staff, and community members that made this event possible.
Jesus Montero-Oliva was awarded the silver medal at the UIL State Prose competition this past week. This marks Jesus' third UIL state medal this year!
On Friday, May 12 we held our first College and Career Signing Day! Congratulations to our seniors who are heading to college, trade school, the military, and the workforce after graduation.

Parents of student-athletes are also invited to attend a Bobcat Athletics parent meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 15. The meeting will take place in the Hempstead ISD Bobcat Den.
The Hempstead High School Girls 4x200 team is headed to Austin, Texas to compete at the state track meet. Their race will take place at 5 p.m. this evening. Help us cheer them on as they represent the Bobcats in Austin. Good Luck!
