The award-winning Hempstead Theatre Co. is hosting a summer minicamp for students entering Grades 1-5 at Hempstead High School Auditorium from June 23 to 27. Our district is proud to provide community access to the outdoor track for walking and wellness. Thank you for helping us keep it safe and respectful for all.
🕓 Public Hours:
- The track is open from dawn to dusk when school is NOT in session.
🚫 Closed to the Public:
- During the school day
- When used by district athletic teams
✅ Track Guidelines:
- Walkers and joggers only—no bikes, scooters, or pets
- Please keep the track clean and respect the space
- This is a tobacco-free facility
- No glass bottles allowed
- Yield to student-athletes and staff when present

Hempstead ISD Athletics is hosting an extracurricular activity physicals event TODAY from 2:30 to 6 p.m. The cost is $20.

The award is available to employees, community members, businesses, volunteers, students, etc.
Nominations may be submitted anonymously, by groups, or by an individual.
