Join us for our annual Meet the Bobcats from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, at
Hempstead High School competition gym. There will be Free food and Kona Ice to beat the summer heat! We hope to see a sea of green and white to showcase community spirit and pride for the Bobcats. The fall student-athletes and coaching staff will also be introduced during the event.
HES thanks Sedalco Construction Services for their generous donation of 180 backpacks full of school supplies for students! Sedalco representatives brought supplies and invited HES leaders to check out their latest project, the Waller County Courthouse. We appreciate our community partners!
Join Hempstead ISD for a New Student Enrollment & Registration Event. Get assistance with new student enrollment and the online annual update system in (ParentPortal) from 2 to 7 p.m. on August 5 and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 6 at The Bobcat Den, 2432 9th St.
All families are required to complete the Annual Update in ParentPortal for all returning students by August 6. If you need assistance with completing the annual update please reach out to your child's campus registrar. This can be completed on a computer or mobile device. Visit hempsteadisd.org/annualupdate.

Texas Parks & Wildlife brought a special visitor to help students learn about local wildlife. Students had a chance to feel animal pelts and touch a real Texas alligator! #HigherHeights

Emergent bilingual summer school students enjoyed the Texas state dish, chili, on Frito pies! They have spent the week learning about their homes, Hempstead, Texas, and the United States while practicing new English vocabulary.

5th graders celebrated their "glow up" to middle school next year with a Glow Party Dance! 🪩 Students put on their dancing shoes and had a great time!
