Dear HES Families, We’re delighted to invite you to join us for a special Thanksgiving lunch at school. This is a wonderful opportunity to share a meal with your child and be part of our community celebration. When to Arrive: Please come to the school at your child's designated lunch time to help us keep things running smoothly: Kindergarten: 10:50 – 11:25 AM4th Grade: 11:20 – 11:55 AM3rd Grade: 11:40 AM – 12:15 PM2nd Grade: 12:00 – 12:35 PM1st Grade: 12:30 – 1:05 PM5th Grade: 1:00 – 1:35 PM What to Do When You Arrive: Sign In: Please check in at the front office when you arrive. Pick Up Your Badge and Ticket: Collect your visitor badge and lunch ticket at the designated table. Line Up: Line up in front of the school building. We will guide you into the cafeteria at the appropriate time to eat with your student. Important for Families with Multiple Children: If you have more than one child in different grades, we’ll need to clear the cafeteria between each lunch period. After finishing lunch with one child, we kindly ask you to exit, line up again, and pick up a new ticket for your next child’s lunch period. This way, we can make sure every family gets a turn and that we have enough room for all guests. A Few Reminders: Please sit with your own child to help us manage seating and supervision. You can pre-register for the event using this link, which we’ll include in your email. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to contact the front office. We look forward to celebrating together. Sharing this time helps strengthen the bond between home and school, and we can’t wait to see you there!

✉️✨ Pen Pals Across the Country! ✨✉️
Today, our 4th and 5th-grade GT students kicked off an exciting new adventure, they wrote their very first letters to their pen pals in Oregon! 💌
Students selected their partners, crafted thoughtful introductions, and poured their personalities into each letter. The excitement in the room was contagious! 🤩
We can’t wait to see the friendships and learning opportunities that grow from this coast-to-coast connection. 🌎❤️📬

💎 The Divine Diamonds Have Been Chosen!
20 outstanding young ladies have been selected as the very first members of Divine Diamonds, a mentorship sisterhood for 4th and 5th grade girls who shine with excellence, integrity, and grace.
After submitting applications, these remarkable students were invited to join based on their academics, behavior, leadership, and positive attitude. Each one exhibits the values that define what it means to be a Divine Diamond , strong, radiant, and full of purpose.
The Divine Diamonds program was created to empower young girls to embrace their brilliance, build confidence, and lead with compassion. Through mentorship, service, and sisterhood, members will grow as leaders and role models in our school and community.
✨ The best part? Every girl has the opportunity to become a Diamond!
We will continue selecting and inviting new members on a rolling basis throughout the school year, because every young lady deserves the chance to shine.
