Students who met their growth measure on the 2023 STAAR test were honored at the HES STAAR Achievement Awards Ceremony. We are so proud of their continuous efforts to grow academically!



October is National Book Month, and HES students have enjoyed having guest readers visit their classrooms to read a book. Thank you, Hempstead staff and community members for promoting a love of reading in our students!

HES students and teachers had a fab-BOO-lous time at the Fall Festival last night!







The Hempstead ES Garden Club is back in action. They have planted broccoli, cabbage, herbs, and marigolds as companion plants. The Waller County Master Gardeners taught the students about the various plant needs. We love our community partners.🌱
