The Superintendent’s Higher Heights Award is presented during the monthly Hempstead ISD Board of Trustees meetings to selected people or groups who have made a significant difference or contribution to Hempstead ISD. The award is available to employees, community members, businesses, volunteers, students, etc. Nominations may be submitted anonymously, by groups, or by an individual.
