Albertini Adenuga, a 4th-grade student at Hempstead Elementary, has been selected for the 2025 cohort of National Math Stars.
National Math Stars is a multi-state program that identifies students with exceptional math talent and provides them with 10 years of support to accelerate their education. Each year, thousands of 2nd and 3rd-grade students are nominated, but only a select few are chosen for this special opportunity.
As a National Math Star, Adenuga will receive:
Long-term support from 4th-grade through high school at no cost to the family
Weekly one-on-one math mentoring
Advanced math learning opportunities
STEM enrichment materials and opportunities
Invitations to math competitions and summer camps
