We hope that you and your family stayed safe during the winter storm. After speaking with local officials it has been determined that we are able to resume normal operations. We are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school tomorrow, Thursday, January 23, at the normal start times.
Additionally, the monthly board meeting has been rescheduled to Thursday, January 23 at 6 p.m. in the Hempstead ISD Board Room. We look forward to celebrating our students and staff of the month and our School Board.

All Hempstead ISD offices and schools will be CLOSED for the Winter Break from December 23 - January 3. Friday, December 20 is an Early Release Day. HMS and HHS - 11:30 AM HECC and HES - 11:40 AM. Staff will return on January 6, 2025 and Students will return on January 8, 2025.
