The newly established Hempstead Education Foundation has become a reality. The first in the history of Hempstead.
The Hempstead Education Foundation was formally approved by the Hempstead ISD Board of Trustees at their August 2026 board meeting, marking the official start of a new chapter dedicated to investing in Hempstead ISD students and teachers.
The Hempstead Education Foundation was established to fund initiatives that support innovative teaching, enriching student experiences, recognizing excellence, and helping Hempstead students dream bigger and achieve more.
The foundation launched its 30-Day Founding Member Campaign as an opportunity for alumni, businesses, families, community leaders, and friends to become inaugural Founding Members. This specific campaign opportunity will close at the end of the 30 days.
All donations are welcome and appreciated as we lay the foundation for a brighter tomorrow.
