Hempstead ISD Transportation substitute bus driver, Kyle Guttridge, received first place in the Gulf Coast Association for Pupil Transportation School Bus Rodeo. This competitive event tests school bus drivers' skills through a rigorous course, testing their safety knowledge and ability to navigate complex obstacles. Guttridge will now move on to the state competition.
