Hempstead High School has been named a 2025 T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights $5,000 sweepstakes winner.
Friday Night 5G Lights is a multimillion-dollar nationwide movement to fuel school pride, performance, and possibility. The T-Mobile program supports small towns by giving high schools a chance to showcase their spirit and compete for a chance to upgrade and enhance their game day experience.
The campus kicked off the school year by showing off its Bobcat pride on their social media channels to drum up support for their campus.
“We are so grateful for the constant support of our students and community,” LaKesha Morgan, Hempstead High School principal, said.
The campus is working toward its next milestone to become a top 25 finalist in the sweepstakes competition. Bobcat fans can help the campus reach their goal by spreading the word on social media, sharing their posts, and tagging @HempsteadHighSchool and @TMobile with #FN5GL and #Sweepstakes.
