Congratulations to Hempstead Middle School campus registrar Johnette Labba.
Ms. Labba served Hempstead ISD students and families for the last 11 consecutive years. On Tuesday, July 8, the District Central Office hosted a retirement celebration for Labba. District staff, her family, and friends were in attendance to support her. Superintendent Herbert O’Neil, Executive Director of Human Resources MaBisha Stubblefield, and colleagues offered her words of support on her next adventure. Labba received a cake and a rocking chair to thank her for her service in Hempstead ISD.
