There are no school supplies needed for Hempstead Elementary School students (Grades K-5). Backpacks are optional for students in Grades K-5.

All Hempstead ISD students in Grades 6-12 are required to use CLEAR or MESH BACKPACKS. Bags that do not meet this requirement will not be allowed.

* High School student schedules and classes vary, therefore, information regarding school supplies will be provided to students by the teachers after the start of school.​​​​​​​
