The Hempstead Bobcat Football team
finished the 2011 season as the
State 2A Div. I Runner-Up Football Team with a 14-1 record,
the best record in the history of Hempstead ISD.
Hempstead lost to Melissa 28-15
in the State 2A-DI Championship game
on Thursday, December 15, at Cowboy Stadium.
